Austin-Bergstrom International Airport Is Getting Multiple New Routes In 2025
All of us want to go somewhere different once in a while right? Whether it be for pleasure or for visiting family, there's so many places to go, and not enough time. But figuring out how to get there is the first step.
One could drive to where they need to go, and with how big Texas is that's always an option. A cruise is also an option for some too! But, for many, an airplane is the way to go.
For those who live in the Austin area, airlines are going to be offering new place to jet away to in the coming year. But where could residents of Austin visit?
Where Are The New Destinations Being Offered At The Austin Airport In 2025?
As reported by KXAN, 14 new places for travelers will be coming to Austin-Bergstrom. They're divided by two seasonal and twelve that will deemed year-round. Delta will ring in the new year first, with a route to New Orleans starting on February 27th.
Then in March, Frontier will start service to both Chicago and Orlando. In addition, Southwest will add Milwaukee and Reno. Right after that, Frontier will offer flights to Cincinnati and Phoenix, and Delta will add Panama City to their list of flights.
It doesn't stop for Delta there either, as in May the airline will provide flights to Indianapolis, Jacksonville and Memphis. As for international routes, WestJet is set to debut a new route to Vancouver, also in May. Finally in June, Delta will bring San Francisco and Tampa options to fly tp out of Austin to, and Southwest will also provide that destination beginning August 5th.
So to say the least, there will be places to go in Austin soon!
