
Texas ICE Ambush: 11 Charged in Alvarado Facility Attack
According to Fox News, 11 people were arrested following a planned ambush on an ICE facility in Alvarado that took place on the Fourth of July. Between 10 and 12 individuals, dressed in military clothing, were firing fireworks to lure officers outside. A gunman, positioned in the nearby woods, shot an Alvarado police officer in the neck. The officer is expected to survive, according to officials.

Authorities believe the suspects are possibly from North Texas and will be charged with the attempted murder of a federal officer. One individual also faces additional charges related to the unlawful discharge of a firearm and property damage. Law enforcement officials stated that the attack was premeditated and intended to target and kill correctional officers.
Key Evidence Revealed in Texas's Alvarado ICE Ambush Investigation
The ambush occurred around 10:30 p.m. at the Pearland ICE Detention Center in Alvarado, which is located about 25 miles south of Fort Worth. Officials say the attackers began launching fireworks at the facility, prompting some officers to respond. During the chaos, one or two individuals broke away from the main group and began vandalizing vehicles and spraying graffiti. Messages such as “ICE,” “pig,” “traitor,” and other profanities were reportedly painted on the property. Fortunately, no armed law enforcement officers, aside from the one injured officer, were harmed during the attack.
