Almost 80 new cases of Measles in the past week, more cases in Texas

OK, this measles thing is getting serious we need to start paying attention.

Almost 80 cases were reported in the last week.

KWTX reports that after the virus was eliminated in 2000 it has been found in 22 us states including Texas that keeps spreading and could beat the record of 963 cases in 1994.

The New York Times reports that Americans who were born before 1957 are assumed to have had the disease and to be immune to it anyone born after are now required to get two shots because of a vaccination that was short-lived and replaced by a weakened vaccine.
