Winter Weather Advisory for Bell County

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Bell County from midnight until late Sunday morning. Freezing rain is expected along a line from the Athens to Temple area overnight.

Small amounts of freezing rain will be possible overnight with enough accumulation possible to make driving conditions a challenge. Watch your step Sunday morning as sidewalks and bridges could see a small amount of icing.

A Winter Weather Advisory is issued when enough wintery precipitation is possible that it may impact driving conditions. The window for freezing rain should end by noon Sunday with rain changing to sleet as it exits Central Texas.
