WARNING: Emergency Boiling Water Notice In Killeen, Texas

On Wednesday, October 2, the city of Killeen issued an emergency boil water notice for residents living on Longhorn Circle between the 503-506 blocks and those on Charlais block from 3702-3910.

THE CITY OF KILLEEN HAS SOME RESIDENTS ON BOILING WATER NOTICES

According to the press release, water crews will need to isolate the main water pipes for repairs due to a boring contract affecting that specific water main. Crews will stay on-site until all repairs are finished and water services are restored. Once water quality samples are collected the next day, results will be available within 24 to 48 hours.

The city advises residents in these areas to boil all water until sampling results confirm no contamination. Updates will be provided on the city website and through the boiling water hotline at 254-501-6515 when the notice is lifted.
