WARNING: Boiling Water Notice In Killeen, Texas

The city of Killeen released a statement saying that an emergency boiling water notice has been made due to an immediate interruption of water services for the following addresses.

2407 - 2423 Gallop Dr. 4403 - 4410 Waterside Dr. 2400 - 3109 Thoroughbred Dr. 4500 - 4610 Stallion Dr. 2901 - 3107 Bachelor Button Blvd

BOILING WATER NOTICE HAS BEEN RELEASED

Unfortunately, there were some issues with the water and main break, and water crews will have to isolate the water main to make repairs to it. The city of Killeen‘s water crew will stay at the site until all of the repairs are corrected and completed with water services restored. There will be quality water samples taken the following morning with results being available 24 to 48 hours later.

WHAT SHOULD THE RESIDENT DO UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE?

Killeen residents who live in this area are told to boil all water before consumption until the sampling results come back to confirm that there is no contamination occurring. Once it is decided that there is no contamination, the city of Killeen will issue a public notice on the website and the boiling water notice hotline.
