The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) advises residents in these areas to boil their water before using it for washing hands or face, brushing teeth, or drinking. Those who are especially vulnerable, such as seniors, children, and individuals with weakened immune systems, are at a higher risk of exposure to harmful bacteria. Customers are urged to adhere to these guidelines. Residents should share this information with everyone else who consumes this water, particularly those who may not have received this notice directly for example residents of apartments, nursing homes, schools, and businesses. You can accomplish this by either posting this notice in a public area or distributing copies in person or via mail.
