Waco: Bubba’s 33 Offers Free Lunch for Veterans & Active Military
Veterans Day is still over a month a way but it's never to early to plan a free meal.
Bubba's 33 in Waco has announced it will stay with it's tradition of serving veterans and active U.S. military members a free lunch on Veterans Day.
Veterans Day falls on Wednesday, November 11 this year.
According to KXXV, Channel 25 veterans and active military will have several choices off the menu, plus a choice of drink, and will need to show proof of service like a military or VA card or discharge papers to take advantage of the deal. Lunch will be served from 11 AM to 4 PM.
If you are a veteran or active military and unable to attend on November 11, Bubba's will distribute a rain check voucher good through June 30, 2021. Bubba's will have a tent set up in their parking lot handing out the rain checks.
I have seen that most Veterans Day parades have been cancelled due to COVID-19, so at least our military members can still enjoy a free lunch.
Bubba's 33 in Waco is located at 2601 S. Jack Kultgen Expressway.
As always, thank you to everyone who's served in our armed forces. You guys rock.
