Massive Verizon Outage Reported by 50,000+ Users In Texas
Can you hear me now? Probably not if you’re a Verizon Wireless user. According to Reuters, Verizon communications have been down in the U.S., including the great state of Texas, since earlier this morning. This outage has prevented many Texans from making phone calls, sending texts, or even receiving calls.

Here Is What The Verizon Team Had To Say About The Outage
I don’t know about you, but if you’re anything like me when it comes to your phone, I need mine almost every minute of the day, and this has been killing me for the last couple of hours. Verizon did release a statement saying, “Our team remains fully deployed and focused on the issue.” The company went on to say, “We understand the impact this has on your day and remain committed to resolving this as soon as possible.”
What Does SOS Mean In The Top Right Hand Corner Of Your Phone?
Reports have also shown that more than 1,000 incidents have been reported for T-Mobile and AT&T services, according to DownDetector.
Many Verizon users seeing “SOS” mode in the top-right corner of their phones may think there’s an issue with their payment or a device malfunction, but that’s not the case. It’s simply part of the outage. We will provide an updated report once Verizon releases more information on how and why this happened.
