Killeen police are investigating after two people reported being attacked and robbed at Lions Club Park earlier this week.

Officers were dispatched to Metroplex hospital around 8:40 PM Monday, where two victims told them they were assaulted at Lions Club Park.

According to the victims, they were preparing to leave the park when they were approached by a group of 3 or 4 men. The men reportedly followed them to their car, then attacked them as they tried to get inside. The assailants reportedly stole a backpack, then fled.

Police are asking anyone who may have information about the crime, the suspects, or the stolen materials to contact Crime Stoppers at (254) 526-8477 or online at bellcountycrimestoppers.com. Information can also be submitted via the P3tips app.

Information submitted to Crime Stoppers is anonymous and confidential, and could net a cash reward of up to $1,000 if it leads to an arrest.
