Traffic Alert: Old FM 440 Lane Closure Scheduled in Killeen

The city of Killeen released a report stating that the southbound lane of Old FM 440, from Wheeler Avenue to Stephen Street, will be closed due to work being performed by Atoms Energy contractors in the area. The streets will be closed to traffic from March 31 until Friday, April 4. The closure will occur from 7 AM to 4 PM, weather permitting. There is a possibility that sidewalks may also be blocked off during work hours, and contractors will manage traffic control to help guide motorists around the work area.
