Toddler Found Covered in Feces After Mother Traveled 400 Miles to Meet Hinge Date in Texas
In my opinion, some individuals should not be parents at all. Parenthood should be viewed not only as a responsibility but as a privilege, and those who exploit or show disrespect for it should face consequences. According to KWTX, Reese Louise Myers, a 25-year-old woman from Killeen, Texas, is accused of leaving her child unattended while traveling out of town to meet a man she encountered through a dating app.
A MOTHERS LOVE SHOULD BE ALL YOU NEED
Reese was arrested and is charged with abandoning or endangering a child, as reported by the Killeen Police Department. This incident occurred in early July when police were called to a welfare check at the W. Hallmark Ave. apartment complex, where it was reported that a child was hanging out of a window while a dog attempted to attack. Upon arrival, officers found the child in a precarious position, wearing only a T-shirt, with signs of diaper rash and waste on the skin. Searching the home revealed that the child was alone, with only two dogs present. When police contacted the mother, they discovered she was 160 miles away in San Antonio, having supposedly left with a babysitter.
SOME PEOPLE JUST SHOULD NOT BE PARENTS
However, the babysitter claimed she had not been informed that she was supposed to watch the toddler and had not spoken to the mother since December 2023. The child was taken to a nearby hospital and placed in the care of Child Protective Services. Authorities suspect that Myers intentionally left the child alone, as the doors and windows were excessively locked. Despite being instructed to return to Killeen, Myers was arrested by the San Bernardino County office on November 5. She was released in California but was re-arrested by the Killeen Police Department on the same day.
