Growing up in the late 70's and 80's, one of earliest memories of watching TV was that of actor and director Tim Reid was all over the place. From his days on "WKRP in Cincinnati" to "Frank's Place" "Sister Sister" and countless movies, he was one of my many heroes growing up because he always seemed to exude class and sophistication in every role he played, which back in the day, was a rarity on television for African Americans.

His legendary career will be documented in the latest episode of TVOne's "Unsung Hollywood" premiering Wednesday night (July 20) at 8:00 pm EST. I had the honor and pleasure of speaking with Mr. Reid about his legendary career and he also shares his thoughts on the current events in America.
