Big Ten officials have made the call to cancel football this fall along with all other sports.

If you're a college football fan like so many of us are, then you've been holding your breath waiting for colleges to make a decision about playing sport this fall.  The decisions are starting to come in, with the Big Ten Conference announcing today tit will cancel all sports this fall because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Our partners at News 10 report other college conferences will make more announcements soon, and according to sources, the Pac-12 is canceling its football season and all other fall sports until Jan. 1.  An announcement is coming soon on that decision.

The Big Ten conference includes big time programs like Ohio State, Michigan, Nebraska and Penn State.

They are exploring options to put a schedule together for sometime next spring.

College football is something I was hoping could happen this fall, but I understand the concern of COVID-19.  Maybe other conferences will try and keep their schedules and work out safe measures to keep everyone safe.
