It was the second anniversary of the Supreme Court decision, where women in Texas sued the state in a very high-profile lawsuit about its abortion ban and said that this experience has made the idea of an abortion very important heading into the election taking place in November. Last month The Texas Supreme Court ruled against a group of women who also sued the state due to a denial of an abortion, despite knowing that these individuals had serious health complications during pregnancies.

There is so much to consider going into the elections in November Texans are pressing the issue when it comes to not only freedom of speech but having the right to do whatever they want with their body. Samantha Casino, who is one of the women who sued the state of Texas stated "Not everyone in my family has voted. If you ever vote before you’re going to this year, I will drive you there." Abortions in Texas must be considered more, than what we think and should be thought about for the votes in November.
