Summertime is here in Texas which means we’re back out lounging around the pools and having fun in the sun and our backyards. According to Newshot 247, enjoying the backyard this summer is okay but there are a couple of things right in the backyard you need to be aware of.

If you find yourself in your backyard and you see a small sack that looks maybe similar to caviar or even sea grapes keep in mind that not only do you need to be aware of it but you also need to destroy it as soon as possible. These poppy seed-like figures are tick eggs and they are not to be taken lightly. Very serious diseases can be spread by ticks and also the eggs they lay. These diseases that Tick can carry are often found covered in outdoor areas and it’s also a sign of a possible infestation. Eggs are usually very tiny with a yellowish tint to them and eggs are also usually pear or oval shaped.

The Tick eggs are usually smooth with a slight gloss of light brown, or that pale yellow. Tick eggs are so detrimental, and it is always suggested to remove plants that attract deer because deers usually carry ticks, always have a full supply of Tick repelling plant spray, cut your grass regularly, and prevent small hosts for animals, such as birdfeeders and make sure if you own a garden to have pebbles, lava rocks, or even mulch if possible. We want all Texans to appreciate and enjoy their summer without having to deal with this so please take it very seriously.
