Will The State Of Texas Lose Any Wendy’s Restaurants?
All of us in Texas have our favorite fast food eatery. It could be something unexpected, or it could something that has a Texas flair to it. Whatever the choice, when we eat there, there is joy to be had.
But there is also sadness when an eatery close to us closes down forever. There is a chance we'll find another one to frequent, but other times it's the only franchise around us. So we keep going to our top food places to hopefully keep them around for a long while.
For big fast food place in Texas, closing of stores may be coming soon. Here's what is known.
Will Wendy's Located In Texas Be Closing Anytime Soon?
As reported by the Austin American Statesman, there 98 Wendy's eateries in the Lone Star State. Though, that number may be going down by next year. The company recently took 12 eateries of their company website, leading to speculation on what places could lose their restaurants.
This is not unexpected, as the Austin American Statesman revealed 140 places of business for the company will go out of business. Stores that haven't reached an average unit volume reached $1.1 million will be closed permanently. In there place would be eateries deemed "higher-performing" and estimated to generate $2 million in average unit volume.
At the time of writing, it's hasn't been revealed if the closure will happen in the Lone Star State. As this is developing story, we will have more information when it becomes available.
