Texas Rent Relief Will Start Accepting Applications March 14
A lot of us here in Texas have suffered financial setbacks due to not only the pandemic, but also inflation. The wild past couple of years have put many of us in a bind when it came to taking care of our utilities and other bills. Texans in need of a little help with their rent should be very excited to know that a program started three years ago is back and ready to assist.
TEXAS HAS SUFFERED ENOUGH
The Texas Rent Relief Program will be accepting new applications for rent and utility assistance starting Tuesday, March 14 at 8 AM. The entry window will only be open until Tuesday, March 28 at 11:59 PM.
If you've found yourself struggling with paying bills, this is exactly the program you want to be a part of.
WHAT CAN THEY HELP WITH?
You could qualify for help with past due, current, or up to 2 months of expected rent costs, as well as utility and home energy expenses. After an initial 3 months of help, you may be able to apply for 3 more months if funds are still available.
LANDLORDS CAN GET HELP TOO
Yep, that's right - if you're a property owner with tenants and you could use some help with backed up rent as well, the program can help you too.
HELPING TEXANS GET BACK ON THEIR FEET
Texans are hard working people with pride, but we all need help sometimes.
If you could use a hand right now, check out the Texas Rent Relief Program website to see what they may be able to do for you. It's ok to ask for help, especially when you plan to rally back and then pay the kindness forward.
