According to Newsnation, Texas legal proceedings have already shown who's interested in taking ownership of the now empty stores. Newsnation revealed the many potential purchasers:

- Cavender’s
- La-Z-Boy
- Rack Room Shoes

Also Five Below was able to obtain 40 stores themselves. But there's one major leader of all the previous mentioned businesses. And it's one that many have seen thanks to it's very green, or perhaps orange and red color.

Who Is The Leading Potential Buyer Of Closed Party City's?

The number one buyer of Party City stores is none other than Dollar Tree. Dollar Tree is seeking to grow fast and quickly as well. In the previous year, the company took on 170 stores from 99 Cents Only, which recently went out of business.

So when exactly could Dollar Tree obtain the stores? Well it may be as soon as the end of the month. With an examination set to occur at the end of month in a Houston courtroom, Dollar Tree may be the new owner of 150 stores that once had branding for Party City.
