DJ Screw, who pioneered the chopped and screwed era in Houston, Texas has a new episodic biopic coming soon.

Finally, someone has committed to telling the story of the infamous Houston DJ who created an entire genre still known to this day as "Chopped and Screwed".

According to the trailer released on Vibe Magazine's website, the series will explore Robert Earl Davis Jr's (also known as DJ Screw) upbringing and how he built a music empire.

Rumored to have overdosed on codeine in his studio back in 2000, his footprint in hip hop has inspired many of today's artists like Future, Drake, Travis Scott and more!

Be on the lookout for  "All Screwed Up". There's no word on an official release yet, but we're hoping it's available soon.

What is Screw Day?
