Texas Lands In Top 10 List Of Hardest Working States
You know we Texans are PROUD of the hard work we put in every day to keep things moving and to maintain our way of life. It hasn't gone unnoticed either, as Texas placed well in a recent list of states ranked from hardest working to laziest.
The website Wallet Hub conducted a study that ranked states from hardest working to laziest using 10 factors including average work hours, employment rate, unused vacation time, commute time, people with multiple jobs, annual volunteer hours per resident, and leisure time. Here's the top 10 HARDEST WORKING STATES:
- Alaska
- North Dakota
- Wyoming
- South Dakota
- Nebraska
- New Hampshire
- Texas
- Colorado
- Virginia
- Kansas
The Great State Of Texas lands at 7, and one of the categories we ranked high in was "average work week hours" where we're 4th in the nation. If you're curious to know who made the LAZY list, Michigan lays around leads the way followed by Rhode Island, West Virginia, our neighbors in New Mexico, and Oregon.
