Woolite Detergent Being Called Back In Texas For Bacteria Problem
Everybody in the state of Texas has to do laundry and everyone has their favorite detergent to use. However, a recent call back of one cleaner should catch the attention of residents in the state. Here's what you need to know.
What Are The Details Of The Recall?
According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the product in question is Woolite Delicates detergent. Sold by Amazon in 50 fluid ounce bottles, the cleaning solution has a large problem concerning a bacteria of the Pseudomonas species.
The germs themselves do not generally harm a person who has an immune system considered healthy. But those with compromised immune systems or with outside medical devices could be in trouble. If a person with those conditions comes into contact with the germ, health issues may happen.

The health issue could get so bad that is may require an individual to seek medical help to get better.
How Do You Know If You Bought The Recalled Product And What Should You Do?
Per the US CSPC, S24364, S24365 and S24366 are the lot codes affected. In addition, the bottle is identified by its white color and both a pink cap and label. Following confirmation of having the detergent, an individual should alert Reckitt, who makes the product in question, to get their money back.
But for persons who purchased the product to be reimbursed, they'll need to do two things. First, they'll need to write "Recalled" with permanent ink on the bottle, and take a picture to provide evidence of both UPC and lot code. An email of that photo should be sent to this address: ConsumerCare_USA@reckitt.com.
After that, to get rid safely of the item, a person should make sure the bottle is closed well, and then placed in the garbage. No effort should be made to recycle the bottle used as well.
