Here in Texas, the beverage of choice will always be sweet tea. It doesn’t have to be a hot summer day for Southerners to enjoy the sweet, earthy taste of a glass of sugar water. While different types of tea, such as raspberry tea, peach tea, and even jasmine leaf tea, are just as delicious as the original sweet tea, it will always be numero uno when it comes to something refreshing here in the South.

Unfortunately, all teas are not created equally. You can come across a tea that may not be sweet enough, too sweet, or just downright nasty. We’ve all experienced that at least once. According to Google, here in Texas, there’s only one place Texans truly choose to have their sweet tea from: Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers. Raising Cane’s is Texans' go-to spot for a cup of refreshing, sweet iced tea. Many Texans have reviewed Raising Cane’s and say that the sweet tea is well-balanced, not too sweet or harsh, which is what makes the perfect sweet tea.

WHERE CAN YOU GET THE BEST GLASS OF SWEET TEA IN TEXAS?

Now, Chick-fil-A is a very close second and offers a top-tier sweet tea in my opinion, but the votes have it: if you want sweet tea and I’m talking about not just good, but great sweet tea Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers in Texas is the only place you want to be. I’ve seen plenty of Texans go into Raising Cane’s solely for the tea. Sure, the chicken tenders are delicious, but the real star of the show is the sweet tea. Get yourself a glass and see why!
