A shooting has taken place in Temple, Texas, and an investigation is currently underway by the Temple Police Department after one person was injured Thursday night, according to KWTX.

On Thursday evening, shortly after 7:30, police were called to the 2400 block of S. 31st St. after an individual reported that a victim had been shot. Once the police arrived at the location, they spoke with the victim, who stated he had been shot in the 2300 block of West Avenue Z.
Shooting in Temple, Texas Leaves One Wounded, Investigation Ongoing
The police indicated that the victim suffered no life-threatening injuries but was still taken to the hospital by a friend. No one else was injured in this incident.
