Police received a call around 3:57 p.m. on Sunday regarding a stabbing in the 1600 block of East Avenue. When officers arrived at the scene, they found one individual who had been stabbed multiple times.

The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported, according to police, which has brought some relief to the community. However, the suspect, Michael Andrew Wilson, was taken into custody and transported to the Bell County Jail on charges of aggravated assault. The case remains under investigation, and no additional information is available at this time.
