According to KWTX, an investigation is taking place in Temple, Texas with the Temple Police Department after an accident happened to a pedestrian.

A hit and run happened on October 8 around 12:30 AM and the Temple police were sent to the 3400 block of SW HK Dodgin loop for the accident, involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. Once officers arrived at the scene, a pedestrian had tried to cross a road in an area that does not have a crosswalk and unfortunately was hit by a car in the middle of the roadway.

The individual has been taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and police say that this case is an ongoing investigation.
