The shelters are also offering discounted spay and neuter services:

  • Male cats will be neutered for $75, with a 50% discount (final cost: $37.50).
  • Female cats will be spayed for $85, with a 50% discount (final cost: $42.50).
  • Female cats spayed or neutered outside the shelter will cost $40, with a 50% discount (final cost: $20).
  • Male dogs neutered through the shelter are $85, with a 50% discount (final cost: $42.50).
  • Female dogs spayed through the shelter are $95, with a 50% discount (final cost: $47.50).
  • Male and female cats or dogs altered outside the shelter are also eligible for a discount.
  • Unaltered dogs will be $28, with a 50% discount (final cost: $14).
  • The shelter fee for altered pets is $50, with a 50% discount (final cost: $25).

It’s important to note that higher adoption fees for animals fixed through the shelter help cover the cost of their medical procedures.
