There's no doubting that both SZA and Rihanna have had a huge 2017. Rihanna's launch of Fenty Beauty has firmly placed her as a major contender in the beauty care industry, while SZA's debut album, CTRL, rocketed her to stardom, earning critical-acclaim across the board. So it's only fitting that the two join forces.

On Tuesday, Fenty announced Mattemoiselle, a new line of lipsticks, and later that evening, a photo of SZA modeling the lipstick popped up on Fenty's Instagram. The image is gorgeous, with SZA's hair pulled into a classic, braid, with her bold lip shade on full display.

This isn't the first time that SZA and Ri-Ri have collaborated. SZA showed up on Rihanna's 2016 album, Anti, on the track "Consideration," which she also co-wrote.

As for Rihanna, it was also recently announced that she was the most streamed artist on Spotify in 2017, even though she didn't release any new music this year. That means she beat out Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande and Sia.

Meanwhile, SZA's CTRL was named Time Magazine's top album of 2017 last week, adding to the acclaim it's received since it dropped. Last month, SZA received five nominations for the 2018 Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist, Best R&B song for "Supermodel" and Best R&B Performance for "The Weekend."
