
SWAT Reports To A Call In Austin, Texas
KXAN reported that the Austin police had to request a SWAT team to respond to a call that, took place Sunday morning regarding a barricaded subject. The police stated that a call came in exactly at 3:40 AM located near the 1100 block of Airport Boulevard in East Austin, this is an area that Austin police department individuals tell Texans to avoid.

SWAT WAS SPOTTED IN EAST AUSTIN
APD stated that at a woman’s residence, it was seen that the home was broken into and she was able to get out and call 911 from a neighboring apartment. According to the Austin Police Department, officers tried to make callouts for a person to come out, but the swat team was needed for tactical presence. Austin police department stated once the SWAT team arrived at the scene and began communicating with the subject on the phone that is when SWAT decided to enter the apartment but the suspect was not located.
At 8:30 AM this morning the Austin police department said that the suspect was not in custody and the investigation into the incident was ongoing. The police also stated that this was an isolated incident, and there was no threat to the public.
