Singer Monica Files For Divorce From Shannon Brown

R&B star Monica is "So Gone" over her soon to be ex-husband.

According to TMZ, the R&B star and licensed mortician filed for divorce from her husband, ex-NBA star Shannon Brown earlier this month. The two have been married since 2010 and have one child together.

Speculation has been ramping up for months that the couple might be in trouble after they separated in October of 2018 and Monica has been showing up to several high profile events without her wedding ring.

Monica unsuccessfully tried to keep her divorce private as she was asking to keep her divorce docs sealed but unfortunately, we all know about it now. Its unknown whether or not she's seeking child or spousal support.

Monica is currently working on a new album titled "Chapter 38" and is one of the stars of the VH1 reality show "Family & Friends Hustle".
