Surprise! Legendary Celebs J-Lo And Ben Affleck May Be Moving to Central Texas

The weather is due to get a whole lot hotter, because two Hollywood stars are looking to find a new place to call their own in Central Texas.

According to a report from KSAT, actress Jennifer Lopez and boyfriend, Ben Affleck, are looking to rent a home in Austin, Texas.

Yes, Austin, Texas!

I honestly never thought I would see the day. First off because J-Lo and Ben Affleck just recently re-kindled their romance from the early 2000's, but also because celebrities typically reside in Hollywood, not Texas.

Obviously times have changed, but there is a good reason why the couple is looking to rent a place in Austin.

Ben Affleck is starring in a new film called “Hypnotic” which according to Deadline, is a thriller about, "a detective who becomes entangled in a mystery involving his missing daughter and a secret government program while investigating a string of high-end crimes."

Production was originally slated for April, but due to the pandemic it has been pushed to the end of September. Staff and crews are reportedly rushing to meet the needs of the couple, as Ben will be living there during filming.

Of course, we can only assume Jennifer Lopez will be traveling back and forth to spend time with her beau.

Last time Lopez was in Central Texas, she was still with ex-fiance Alex Rodriguez and the two visited with Magnolia's very own Chip and Joanna Gaines.

Oh my goodness, the possibilities are endless. Plus, Alicia Braga is set to appear in the film as well. Alicia Braga's most recent roles include Queen of the South, Suicide Squad, and Oscar-winning Pixar film Soul.
