Saying Goodbye: Salad and Go Shuts Down in Temple, Texas
After being in business for less than two solid years, Salad and Go’s location on West Temple will be closing for good this Friday, according to TDT News. Mike Tattersford, the CEO of the company, announced that over 40 restaurants across Texas will be closing this week, including the Temple location.

Following the announcement, coworkers are wondering what’s next for the affected employees. Nicole Griffin, a team leader at Salad and Go, stated that they were given no prior warning. Griffin also said, “I mean, we are getting compensation, but some people are really shaken up. I personally love this restaurant. It’s definitely somewhere I go regularly, so to see it go is very sad.”
A Sad Farewell: Salad and Go Temple Closes Its Doors for Good
Tattersford added that the company will continue to operate all existing stores in Phoenix, Tucson, and Las Vegas, where its concept is already well-established. He explained that concentrating efforts in these areas will enable them to strengthen the brand, invest more in improving quality, drive innovation, and build community.
