Animals in the state of Texas are important to many. But unfortunately, not everybody treats animals the right way. For one county in Central Texas, they are trying to find somebody who fatally harmed a dog in the area.

What Are The Details Of The Case?

According to FOX 44, the situation took place in July of 2025. Per the news organization, an unidentified female was around Little Mississippi Cemetery Road. While she was in the area, she found a dog in very bad situation.

The dog was in a very precarious situation with injuries that were life threatening. Listed injuries by FOX 44 included a hole in the dog's chest, and jaw that was completely fractured.

How Was The Dog Allegedly Harmed And Is The Culprit Known?

Per FOX 44, it is alleged that the dog was hurt badly due to either a device that was explosive, or possibly a firework. Sadly, the dog was hurt too badly that dog was put to sleep after medical examination. But now, the police are looking for whoever harmed the dog and leaving it to die.

As stated by Animal Wellness Action, inquiries have begun by the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office to determine the possible culprit or culprits. At the time of writing, not a lot of information has been revealed about the investigation.
