Just a few years after leaving her small town Mississippi home, B Angie B was discovered by M.C. Hammer who was preparing for his now historic run at the top of the charts, signed her as a background singer for his albums and for Oaktown's 3.5.7. before going solo and scoring a hit of her own called "I Don't Want To Lose Your Love".
