Police are investigating after someone fired a gun at H-E-B Plus in Copperas Cove, Texas on Tuesday afternoon.

Incident at H-E-B Plus in Copperas Cove

According to the Killeen Daily Herald, a bullet hit the storefront, breaking a window on the front of the H-E-B Plus at 2990 U.S. Hwy 190. The newspaper is reporting that the Copperas Cove Police Department listed the incident as “deadly conduct discharge firearm.”

Lt. Krystal Baker confirmed in a police statement to the Killeen Daily Herald that the shot was outside of the store, but no suspects are currently in custody. No injuries were reported, and the Copperas Cove Police Department is currently investigating the incident.

Recent Crime in Copperas Cove

It's been a busy month for police in Copperas Cove, as the department is still investigating multiple burglaries in the area that happened earlier this month, and the police are asking the public for help in finding the suspects.

In two videos posted on Facebook by the Copperas Cove Police Department, the suspects are seen wearing hoodies with their faces covered during an attempt to break into two buildings including RD Guns, a firearm store in Copperas Cove.
