There is a hornet's nest of activity going on in Robinson, Texas this morning.

News 10 reports the McLennan County Sheriff's Deputies, McLennan County Bomb Squad, EMT's, Robinson Fire, along with State Police have all responded to a report of shots being fired. Christy Soto with KWTX was on the scene not far from the blocked off area in Robinson in the video below.

This is going on this morning in the area near 12th Street and the 700 Block of E. Stegall Drive. This section of town has been blocked off since around 7 am. The situation seems to be a standoff with one or more individuals.

Another response to shots fired took place in another Robinson neighborhood back in March. That incident also saw a response from a host of emergency crews. During that previous standoff, News 10 says a suspect fired shots that hit homes nearby before fatally shooting themselves.

This mornings response is still developing. Police are asking anyone in the area to avoid the blocked off area in Robinson until the all-clear is given.
