April 21 will mark five years since Prince passed away, and at Paisley Park, his home, studio, and “creative sanctuary,” fans will be able to pay their respects to the late artist free of charge. However, reservations are needed.

Paisley Park, located in Chanhassen, Minnesota, will open its doors to the fans for free visitation on Wednesday, April 21, from 9 AM to 9 PM.

If you're a prince fanatic still feeling the death of the legendary artist, you're invited to leave flowers, mementos, and other memorial items in front of the Love Symbol statue outside the studio/museum's main entrance.

There'll also will be an online memorial for those who are unable to visit in person at PaisleyPark.com.

Paisley Park CEO Alan Seiffert said, “Prince’s passing remains incomprehensible to us all. At Paisley Park, we celebrate his life every day. So, on this day, we pay tribute to Prince and invite everyone to pay their respects."

After Prince's death, Paisley Park has became a museum dedicated to him. Even though the pandemic has curtailed those efforts. his estate, which was in a state of disarray at the time of his death, reached agreements with Warner Music and Sony Music Group that led to a reissue campaign which produced three excellent Prince box sets.

Prince was 57 when he passed away on April 21, 2016 from an accidental overdose of fentanyl. The musician and artist was cremated, and his ashes were placed in a custom 3D-printed urn in Paisley Park's atrium.

Not many of us will be able to make the pilgrimage to honor Prince's life and legacy in person, but those who are will find themselves among others deeply touched by the man's music and larger than life personality.
