As the COVID-19 pandemic has upended our lives, we've all learned to have a greater appreciation for the people in our lives who help us get through the day and the heroes on the front lines of the battle against the virus.

The saying goes "not all heroes wear capes", and that's certainly proven true during these trying times. Some heroes wear scrubs, badges, helmets, or fatigues. Others stock shelves at grocery stores, deliver food to people in need, drive trucks to keep the supply chain going, or organize lessons plans and virtual classes to ensure kids in our community continue to receive an education. Many simply continue to go to work to keep society functioning as closely to normal as it can right now.

We're teaming with Navy Federal Credit Union to celebrate Hometown Heroes right here in Central Texas, and we need your help.

Nominate someone you consider a hero using the form below. Each week, we'll give shout-outs on the air and online to show them some love and appreciation.
