Ne-Yo and Wife Crystal Smith Welcome Second Child

Congratulations are in order for Ne-Yo and his wife Crystal Smith, as  they welcomed their second child, a baby boy name SJ.

“The absolute best moment in my life thus far ( Aside from marrying you @neyo) The arrival of SJ was the most terrifying and beautiful day ever!,” Crystal said via Instagram.

She said things got a little scary for a while because she had an emergency c-section since the umbilical cord was wrapped around the baby's neck twice.

"But @drsherryr was so quick saving him and getting him in my arms," Smith said.

This is Ne-Yo's second child with Crystal Smith— their son Shaffer Chimere Smith, Jr., was born in 2016. Ne-Yo also has two children, Madilyn and Mason, with his ex Monyetta Shaw.

Both Ne-Yo and Crystal previously said that they are not totally done with having babies just yet, especially since they still don't have a girl together.

"I've been dreaming of the same little girl since I was a little girl and we won't stop until we get her!" Crystal said.
