Musiq Soulchild and Ex-Girlfriend Welcome Baby Girl [PHOTO]

Musiq Soulchild is a new dad. Late last month, the R&B singer and his ex-girlfriend, Ashley “Tiyumba” Wright, welcomed a baby girl into the world.

Over the weekend, Ms. Wright went on her Instagram page and shared a photo of her newborn daughter. The baby, named Satori Solaris, was born on Oct. 30 and weighed in at 6 pounds, 14 ounces and 20 inches. “Born right into papa’s [Musiq Soulchild] hands,” reads the caption. “Thank you to all who see me!! We are so provided for!”

Soulchild and Wright are no longer together. The couple broke up in May. Wright posted a lengthy Instagram message explaining that she moved out of the R&B singer’s home a month after announcing her pregnancy.

"I had met him [Soulchild], he woo’d me, we moved in together, we started a family (holds belly), and I would for the first time celebrate Mother’s Day with a companion by my side," she wrote. "Yet here I am, at my parent’s house, in a bed that gives me lower back pain, consistently shifting my mind as I courageously take on emotions and feelings that do not serve me."

This is Soulchild's second baby. He has a son, Zachary, with his ex-girlfriend and 702 singer Kameelah Williams. According to reports, Soulchild has reunited with Williams after being separated for over a year.
