Last summer, fans were delighted by the blockbuster film Straight Outta Compton. The biopic focusing on N.W.A. garnered wide critical acclaim, though some critics wondered why Dr. Dre's well-known abusive past with both Dee Barnes and Michel'le were left out of the film. Now, Michel'le's Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge, and Michel'le will portray some of the alleged details that was left out of last year's number one movie.

On Oct. 15, the "First Lady of Ruthless Records" will provide her side of the story in a Lifetime original movie in regards to her abusive relationship with Dr. Dre, her contentious battle with substance abuse, and her meteoric rise that later floundered because of corrupt business dealings.

While Michel'le did manage to stand aside the likes of Tupac, Eazy E, and Suge Knight, her success quickly dissipated. The trailer vividly depicts Dr. Dre as an abusive and demanding partner to Michel'le. The singer's ex-husband Suge Knight also plays a substantial role in the film, though he's threatened to sue if he feels the film defames him in any way.

Check out the trailer, and be sure to keep an eye out for Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel'le, which is slated to air Oct. 15 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Lifetime.
