Men With Facial Hair Are More Attractive To Women According To Science

What started out as a movement for men to embrace their "masculine" side by letting their facial hair grow now has the backing of SCIENCE: Women love the Beard Gang.

In story reported by Yahoo, according to a new study in the Journal of Evolutionary Biology, women find men with facial hair more attractive than men who are clean shaven.

As part of the experiment, male subjects were photographed clean shaven, five days after shaving, 10 days and then after a whole four weeks without shaving. Then 8,500 women were asked to rate men on their attractiveness as a long term romantic partner. - Yahoo

Men with "heavy stubble" meaning they haven't shaved for 10 days, were found to be the most attractive while men with full beards grown over 4 weeks was second on the list. "Light stubble" (5 days without shaving) finished third while baby face clean shaven men was seen as the least attractive.
