Wrapping up another year in the books at MyKiss1031 we've had some exciting things happen this year! Of course we welcomed The Steve Harvey Morning Show to the MyKiss1031 family and we also MOVED out of old Copperas Cove studio and joined the rest of the Townsquare Media family in Temple. We gave a THOUSANDS of dollars in cash and gave away some amazing prizes this year as well.
We've also had some big name guests either stop by the studio to hang out or just call in to have some fun so let's look back at some of my favorite interviews from this past year!
Without a doubt, my favorite interview of the year was with legendary comedian Bill Bellamy who stopped by the Kiss Studio and took over my show. He wasn't done there, we even jammed along to some songs in studio!
When you get the opportunity to talk to the ONE man who was one of the "Five Heartbeats", Little Richard, AND David Ruffin you take it! Legendary actor and musician Leon stopped through and played some of his new songs and we talked about his career!
Actor and comedian Flex Alexander stopped through and we talked about his stand-up comedy career, a possible reboot of his hit sitcom from back in the day "One On One" and his infamous role as Michael Jackson in that one Lifetime movie.
Mr. Friday Night Lights Boobie Miles
High school football legend and subject of the book and movie "Friday Night Lights" Boobie Miles surprised me in studio and stopped by to share his cautionary tale of what happens to kids when we put "athletics" over "education" in our school systems.
I had the pleasure of interviewing one of my real life crushes, West Coast Hip Hop Legend Yo-Yo when she called in to talk about the "Black Music Honors" on TVOne.
