Melz Called It: Indian Couple Names Twins Covid & Corona
I'm not the type of person to say "I Told You So"....I'm the type of person that runs around SCREAMING "I KNEW IT" and rubs your face in it. Its one of the negative traits I have that I'm working on to become a better person while I'm on quarantine....More about that in another post.
Anyway, a few weeks back on my very high quality radio program and on Facebook Live during my compelling Live Show The Mandatory Meeting, I said that the chances were going to be pretty high that somebody on this planet during this pandemic would name their kids or kids that were thought of, conceived and born before or after all this in remembrance of this unprecedented time in our lives. Somebody actually did it.
Over in India, the entire nation is on lockdown and 27 year old Preeti Verma of Raipur gave birth to her twins, a boy and a girl, on March 26. She named the boy "Corona" and the girl "Covid" she says in order to "remind them about all the hardships they conquered" to come into this world during a pandemic.
According to NDTV, however, the twins parents say that they may change their decision later and rename their kids which is a good thing I guess because who wants to grow up being named after this? According to the report, the entire family and babies are doing fine after being discharged from the hospital.
