Nearly ten years ago, the district clerk’s office began offering local passport processing services. Residents feel this potential change is unnecessary — the population isn't decreasing; it's growing. When KXXV spoke with one resident, he said, "We are a community of working people. A lot of us don’t have the luxury of taking half a day off work to renew or apply for our passports."The idea of staff cuts has left many in the community feeling concerned and anxious.
