KISD Summer Safety Event & Bicycle Donations
The city of Killeen Police Department will be hosting a summer safety community outreach event on Thursday, June 8. This event is for safety training which is the primary focus of this fantastic event. There will be Killeen police officers teaching the community the use of the proper safety precautions when handling and riding a bike.
SUMMER SAFETY IS FIRST HERE IN KILLEEN!
The KISD Police Department encourages families to bring children out for this community event to engage in learning and parents can also register their children here. The Killeen Independent School District and the police department are also accepting bike and helmet donations as of now used or new. If you’re wanting to drop off a donation and keep in mind you will have until June 7 at the Killeen Independent School District Police Department located at 402 N. 2nd St., or at the Killeen Independent School District office located behind the Gateway campus on 4100 Zephyr Rd. in Killeen.

This event is to not only educate our children on safety rules but it’s for the community to come out and have a good time. If you have any questions or need any additional information?
