Killeen's J.C. Stringz & More R&B Acts To Catch At SXSW In Austin

Spring break is just a couple of days away and despite all the fear over a certain "virus" thousands are still expected to descend upon Austin for the annual SXSW Conference and Festival.

This year's SXSW happens March 13th through March 22nd with 10 jam packed days of seminars with tons of famous guest speakers and celebs, live shows and performances from just about every genre of music imaginable and more.

While most of the music lineups have yet to be announced, we decided to scour the R&B genre to find out who you can catch at the fest this year.

J.C. Stringz
Local talent 18 year old J.C. Stringz will be showcased during this year's SXSW. You've seen him perform all over Central Texas and you'll be able to catch him at this year's festival. His showcase date hasn't been announced yet but you can find more details here.

The Hamiltones
J. Vito, Tony Lelo, and 2E are a trio of North Carolina natives known as The Hamiltones. The group started as background vocalist for Grammy winning soul singer Anthony Hamilton. Their performance clips have gone viral several times and now you can catch them live for 2 showcases on March 20th and 21st.

Alesia Lani
Rising R&B star out of Austin Alesia Lani who has performed in Killeen opening up for Lyfe Jennings continues to branch out and showcase her music. She also has 2 showcases at SXSW this year on March 18th and March 21st.
