
Killeen All Clear! Boil Water Notice Officially Ended
The City of Killeen has issued a press release announcing that the emergency situation affecting water services along the 1100 to 1600 blocks of Nicholas Circle has been resolved. Water service interruptions in this area were caused by a private underground boring contractor who accidentally struck a water main. As a result, city water crews were dispatched to the scene to isolate the damaged main and conduct necessary repairs.

Due to the severity of the incident, crews remained on site to correct the contractor’s mistakes and restore full water service to all affected residents. After completing the repairs, the water crews collected water quality samples to ensure the safety of the water supply. Laboratory results from the following day confirmed that there was no contamination and that the water is safe for consumption.

As a result, all boil water notices in the area have been lifted, and normal service has resumed. The City of Killeen thanks residents for their patience and cooperation throughout the repair process.
