
Killeen, Texas Annual Veterans Day Parade Is Coming Nov. 11
The month of November will be here sooner than you think, and the city of Killeen will be ready for its annual veterans parade. On November 11 at 11 AM the annual Central Texas Community Veterans Day, Parade, will March through historic downtown Killeen.

The theme this year will be "honoring all who served". Mayor Debbie Nash King will be presented with a certificate of recognition as Killeen has been designated as a regional site for the Veterans Day celebration. AVAC, also known as the area veteran activity committee each year sponsors, this fantastic event and they are comprised of all the veteran organizations from Killeen, Harker Heights, and even Nolanville.

The parade will start at West Avenue D next to City Hall and it will travel from College Street down to Avenue D to Eighth Street then Eighth Street to Street and Street to Gray Street and will finish off at College Avenue. Residents are told to secure a spot early that way they’re able to see the parade up close and have parking.
