In Killeen, Texas, a multi-vehicle crash resulted in one fatality following a police chase, according to KCENT. The incident occurred on Trimmer Road and Grandon Drive, near the First National Bank. Chief Pedro Lopez of the Killeen Police Department stated that the pursuit, which led to the crash, began shortly before noon when an officer attempted to pull over a Jeep. The driver, however, fled the scene, later striking a white car with two passengers inside and a black truck, which flipped onto its side.

Deadly End to Stolen Car Chase in Killeen, Authorities Say

There were two suspects in the Jeep involved in the crash, said Chief Lopez. The suspects have not yet been identified, but officers did find handguns inside the vehicle. The individuals in the white car and the black truck were taken to the hospital and are in stable condition. Unfortunately, the identity of the individual who died has not been released, though it has been confirmed that the deceased was a woman.
